  1. Definiton: Running your bot 24/7 with no breaks because you just don't give a shit. But does this really make a difference? Several Osbot members believe that whether your account is taking 15 minute breaks or not just doesn't determine when jagex is going to ban you, which means the only time that they believe you should stop your bot is to transfer items, and that breaks are just a waste of time. Based on experience, what do you believe? Personally, I believe breaks make a difference because whenever I've tried to suicide bot, the account seems to get banned a lot quicker. Remember to vote in the poll please.

  7. & after the players start to quit, they'll have to open f2p worlds in order to get more people interested in the game. This will allow for even more botters, and even the f2p players would quit. However that scenario would never happen, and it's just a guess. Also, jagex knows that even if they ban our accounts we'll just buy memberships for new ones, more money for them.
  8. I'll do for 2.25 per account.
  9. How much you paying each?

  11. I have 15 accounts botting yews right now, 0 bans. Shut up. Actually read it.
  12. Yews are always more profitable if you know what you're doing, and the ban rate is 4x as high.
  13. Being someone who only bots woodcutting and mining, I've learned a lot about how to get the most out of your WC bots. Please understand I'm not some random person listing what I think is best. This is what I've learned over a long course of time of botting woodcutting. The script I highly recommend is available on the SDN located here Outline 1 - Levels 2 - Axes 3 - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION 4 - Botting smart Subsections 1 - Levels 1.1 - Normal logs level 1 to 20 1.2 - Oak logs level 20 to 35 (or 40) 1.3 - Willow logs level 35 to 50 1.4 - Maple logs level 50 to 65 (or 70) 1.5 - Yew logs level 65 to forever. 1.6 - NEVER bot magic logs. The logic behind this is to not start cutting a tree until 5 levels after it is unlocked, as it will still be too slow. My reasoning for what I said in 1.6 is that magic logs are always too slow to be as profitable as yews, unless you're very very lucky. I don't even bot magics on my accounts with 99 woodcutting. 2 - Axes 2.1 - Iron axe level 1 to 6 2.2 - Steel axe level 6 to 21 2.3 - Mithril axe level 21 to 31 2.4 - Adamant axe level 31 to 41 2.5 - Rune axe level 41 to 61 2.6 - Dragon axe level 61 to forever. I'm sure everyone already knows this, I'm just throwing it in there. 3 - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION 3.1 - Seers Village [ camelot ] - This city is what I myself call the home of woodcutting. I can bot an account level 1 to 99 woodcutting and never have to leave, provided that I come with all the supplies needed. 3.2 - Ban Rates - Contrary to popular belief, woodcutting bots do not have an unnaturally high ban rate. Out of around 60 accounts, I've only ever had 2 temporary bans, and 1 permanent ban which was a long time ago. However, some locations are better for staying unbanned than others. As convenient as Seers is, I recommend finding your own rarely populated trees and making a custom bank path. Location has to be one of the biggest things to consider when botting, make sure you take it into account. 4 - Botting smart. 4.1 - Be informed - I have several threads that can help you bot smart, please click the spoiler for links to check them out If there's anything you believe I should add, please inform me.
  14. I was 100% sure of ping, I'm sure everyone is. I was told bandwidth was what I was thinking of, thank you for answering my question.
  15. Yes it does. I'm running 18 bots right now and using around 6gb of ram on a linux machine. 32 gb is a crap tonne of ram though Linux may be different then. HHHHHHHHHHOLY SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
  16. I just need someone to reassure me of what controls the amount of lag there will be when I'm connecting to my dedicated server. I.E. bandwidth (more=less lag) etc.
  17. Firstly, did you re-install windows without backing up profiles etc? Because that means any configured settings, software etc you had is no longer automatically adjusting your settings for you. If 30% is more than usual then your CPU might have been overclocked, I don't think reformatting affects your BIOS settings though.. Maybe it's something to do with drivers etc, I'm not too sure in that respect. It shouldn't be higher. You'll need to download and install some fan monitoring software so you can control the speeds etc. Don't let your CPU go above 70 degrees and the GPU (if you have one) over 85 though. If you can't be bothered with that get some quiet edition fans (noctua or the corsair silent series [slightly worse than noctua but they look nicer ] fans) and replace your stock fans. Stock fans are always noisy so even the silence optimized fans at the maximum output are pretty quiet. That has no relevance, I hate when people comment when they don't know anything in relation to the discussed topic. You just fill peoples head with incorrect/irrelevent info. PS I haven't heard of the memleak being fixed, can you link me the thread that says that (I'm interested). first off you need to watch your mouth and talk with some respect. Secondly, there is a memory leak. The developers have said it'll be fixed in Osbot 2 to multiple staff members. From your own words, I hate when people comment when they don't know anything in relation to the discussed topic, which you don't.
  18. support
  19. I don't exactly understand what you're asking.
  20. I can assure you that locking threads isn't a burden to staff, if anything they don't have enough to do. No support.
  21. I support a higher rank, but first priority with staff promotions? Are you high?
