Not worth it. They don't even look at appeals. Done it before, appeal will be pending a year later, probably even if you we're somehow falsely banned. Try emailing, but even then they are going to lol at it and not respond.

After realizing how quick they are to perm ban, and how quickly they catch onto botting, I'm kinda resenting Jagex. I clearly don't have a year of 10 hour a day no-lifing in my schedule to get back satisfying progress... and after having gotten far in Runescape several times on several accounts, the small time goals don't motivated me enough to keep pushing. Also all the servers have like 100 people... pretty soon it'll be like 20. I wish I could play Runescape like I did for some many years, but the game has really fallen apart. For now I'm leaving... who knows, one day I might check it out again.

Ahah thanks yall for the input. I have been away for a while and was wondering how on top of it Jagex is. Thanks for killing my paranoia. I just wanted to make sure I can eventually bot this account responsibility in the future .

So... I recently had all my accounts perm-banned for macroing major (first offences, but I assume it's because I was botting more than one account) at the same time, and quit runescape for a while. After about a month without playing at all, I finally decided to make a new account and start playing again today. Before opening runescape or going to the website, I turn on my Proxy and go through a public proxy server as I'm paranoid of my account being traced back to my IP which all my accounts were banned on. When I opened the email to verify my account, I forgot that I wasn't using a proxy... but I assume I wasn't flagged just for that, cause I didn't log in or anything, just quickly clicked the link from the email to complete the verification. But here's where I'm worried... I never bothered to delete my Jagex/Runescape caches on my computer. I've played on the new IP on my new account legit all day, before I remembered to delete the caches. Am I potentially flagged just from that? Brand new account, on a different IP, but all of the caches that existed before my old account was ban were still there. i just deleted them now. If I played legit for a couple weeks, would my account likely be taken off the radar? I'm a little paranoid. Any input would be much appreicated... I can't afford to keep building an account that is likely to be banned as soon as I start using bots. Basically I'm wondering if upon logging into a new account, the cache is scanned and the account is flagged if there's been any macroing behavior on the computer in the past.

Wow... logged in late today, about 16 hours since I last was playing, and was DCed after about a second, with a permanent ban. Logging into every other account, the same thing happened. Perma bans, for first offences.

Wow dude, it's common sense. When using any substance, especially stronger, mind altering ones you have to be comfortable doing it. The fact that you did it even though you doubted it and were hesitating shows you're not mature enough to be messing around with drugs. Expect a bad trip to happen if you're not completely set on doing it... if you have any hesitations then don't do it?
