Many people have been killed over religion. People are still murdered everyday because of this.I used to be just like you, I didn't believe in God or Jesus. But when something extremely terrible happens to you you'll find yourself wondering why, and a higher purpose is the only reason you're willing to accept. I hope that it never comes to that and your divine judgement isn't a harsh one. On May 18 2012 my son died thanks to a disease called Gastroschisis. And if it makes me "ridiculously stupid" to believe that my son is with God and I'll see him again when I die, then so be it. What harm does it do you to believe? None. But if God IS real... It will do you much more harm not to. i cant believe how people spend their time on ...god-something that "might" work...
