  1. I haven't update the script for a long time. It should no longer be working anymore. Eric
  2. I wasn't aware you could bot multiple clients if you don't have VIP. I thought it was restricted also... Eric this use to be allowed it was restricted recently though so now you need VIP to bot on multiple accounts Yeah thought so. Eric
  3. Depends. 1) Do you bot more than one account? You can't do that without VIP or Sponsor. Botting with multiple tabs is slower than botting with multiple clients. (for me) Go VIP! I wasn't aware you could bot multiple clients if you don't have VIP. I thought it was restricted also... Eric
  4. Or it could be due to the fact that the bot server is having problems. I'd just wait for a day and see. Eric
  5. Depends. 1) Do you bot more than one account? You can't do that without VIP or Sponsor. 2) You also get a discount if you buy premium scripts from the SDN. 3) You are also allowed to change your display name, and you get a nice PiP and rank. 4) You support OSBot development. I think that's about it though. Eric
  6. Go Alek! You've done a lot within the past week and spent a lot of time working for OSBot. Nobody should be quitting because of you; you've solved more scripting related problems than anyone else in such a short time. And you shouldnt' say anyone's your mentor. You aren't a moderator or admin, but you deserve as much respect as any one of them. Not sure exactly of @Alek's thinking, but what makes more sense, processing the more recent requests first, which correspond to scripts that are more likely to be working, or processing the older requests for scripts that might have been discontinued or are no longer working? He said he's working through over two months of scripts, but that doesn't mean he's gone through all of them already... It takes time to review each script for stability and for malicious code, and for less than a week, @Alek has done a lot. Eric
  7. I've made this post because I'm really getting tired of reading posts made by people complaining about @Alek. Many of the people posting don't have a good idea of what they are talking about. From the perspective of a scripter, here is what I see: @Alek is a Script Manager. His job is mostly to manage the SDN, to push updates, to review for malicious code, etc. This means that most of his work is at the backend. I repeat, most of his work is at the backend, not on the forums. Just because he hasn't made that many posts or doesn't come online as often does not mean he is not active. @Alek has been hard at work trying to fix up the SDN. The scripters of this community all feel the positive influence he's had on the community. And for the rest of the members, be thankful that @Alek is managing the SDN, because he's the one streamlining the updates. We've all seen your complaints about how slow updates were in the past. @Alek is here to fix that. As for the @Smart vs @Alek debate, @Alek is a script developer. It makes sense that he'd be the one to manage SDN updates. While @Smart was an excellent moderator and deserved a promotion, @Alek is still a better fit for the position that he filled. When I first saw @Alek was promoted, I was surprised, but I have since come to understand the value of his promotion, and I now fully support it. Keep it up @Alek ! Eric

Welcome back Stark! Glad you got you irl things sorted out If by awesome you mean barely works and can't run for more than a hour. Sure Come on, cut him some slack... be more sympathetic. He's had a difficult time but he's back and his scripts will be awesome again.
  9. wiser words were never spoken. I'm currently botting the stronghold so that I can write my own solver for this again. Eric
  10. Appreciate the suggestion I used to do that but since I implemented the switch attack style feature, the exp counter gets funky, so I decided the script user could just calculate it themselves (since it's basically 1:3 ratio). Let me know what you think about that. Eric

  12. Might be helpful to give more information about where you are in the stronghold... I've just pushed a fix for this, but we have to wait for the admins to approve it. Seems like they took away my autoupdate privileges or something... Eric

Let me start this by stating that this is not an attack on the admins or moderators. This is a way to create a link between the scripters and the administration, in order to sort out problems and to promote the growth of OSBot. We (scripters) should join together in a union, in order to act and speak with one voice, so that the administration cannot simply ignore us as they have done in the past. The important part is not the past, but how we develop as a community in the future. I've created a temporary website: http://scriptersunion.com, which has several resources to use. I say temporary because this is an ongoing effort and should expand in the future. I hope that scripters, moderators, and admins who see this message will 1) go and join this union so that we can become an actual moving force, and 2) forward it to others so they can join as well. (This is not a duplicate thread. The other post was made in a section restricted to scripters only) Eric
  14. Do you know which one? I haven't had this problem happen for a long long time. Eric
  15. Excalibur is a special attack weapon. When used, it uses %100 Special Attack power and Boosts your defence by 8 levels. I usually bring this along with super attack pots when training and its awesome.. Really helps while fighting ankous. I see a lot of people bring it and use it. I think support for it would be amazing. It does require a quest to obtain: Merlins Crystal. As I said in the Pm, I would be happy to let you borrow my account if you needed to. I'm guessing you're supposed to switch to this weapon, activate special attack, and then switch back to the original weapon? Eric Your guess is correct. I'll work on excalibur support, but it'll have to come after some other scripting related work, like porting my script over ;) Eric
  16. Could that be because the script logged you into a PvP world? I've updated the script so that the world hopper no longer selects PvP worlds. The update is in version 2.3.7. However, it seems that I can't autoupdate my scripts anymore, so we'll have to wait for an admin. Eric
  17. Ah yikes. Yeah I'll add the PvP worlds to the blacklisted ones. Eric

  19. Ahh okay. It got further than before. At least it solved the box. I'll fix that tonight. My bad, I read your PM but didn't get to reply. What's with this excalibur thing? That's a problem with the client... My script doesn't deal with the maze. Eric
  20. Oh yeah, you can get a OSBot voucher. Hope you like the script. Eric
  21. Okay, so do I need to do anything for that? Eric
  22. Hm can't you use paypal to charge your credit card? I'm pretty sure you can. Otherwise, what exactly is this voucher business lol. Eric
  23. Yeah it will be different. Glad you like the script. Eric
  24. I've released version 2.3.5 of the script. This version should have fixed strange box random solver. Eric
  25. Hey, Thanks for the detailed report. 1) I'll make it slower. I agree with you on this. 2) This is a client thing... can't do much about that 3) There is a built in +/- 5 percent 4) I'll slow it down a bit. It would be easier to use Herb but if you want to specify which type of unid you would have to use the ID. I'm also about to fix the strange box random solver on this script, so you should prob. wait a bit. I'll make a post about it. Eric
