Stop hating Swizz... BTW I use Bing for the same reason. I haven't actually gotten anything for a while since I don't search much, but that 5 bucks once in a while is still nice.

Hello dear botters and script developers. In order to ensure that OSBot 2 will be flawless upon release, the development team has decided to delay the official launch of OSBot 2 by 4 days. It's not a big delay, but we (both script writers and developers) intend to use those extra days to do some extra testing. Just to clarify what will happen once the transition is made: 1) The OSBot 1 client will not become obsolete immediately. It will be kept up to date for a period of time, and you will still be able to use your OSBot 1 scripts on that client. 2) For those of you who have a one time payment script for OSBot 1: If the scripter who made your original script ports it to OSBot 2, you will be given 1 month of trial access. 3) The SDN page for OSBot 1 scripts will be moved to the following page: http://osbot.org/mvc/sdn1/scripts Note: ALL OSBot 1 SCRIPTS WILL BE REMOVED WHEN OSBOT 1 IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED. 4) Any renewals for OSBot 1 scripts have been terminated. 5) All scripts for OSBot 2 will be monthly scripts. This means there will no longer be any one time "lifetime" scripts. 6) Once OSBot 2 officially launches, all scripts will be free for the first week. This is to allow public testing of the client and the scripts. 6) Don't kill the messenger (me)

The development of a completely human-like mouse algorithm
Ericthecmh replied to Dreamliner's topic in Projects
Except that Alek doesn't have internet right now. Also, are you guys actually able to withdraw anything useful algorithmically? I mean sure there are hotspots, but so what? How do you guys filter all of the data and put it into a single algorithm? -
By the way, the SDN upload requests section is now open. Please note that only OSBot 2 scripts will be approved from now on. Any scripts that are added will not show up in the Store until the official release date of OSBot 2.

Seconded. It works perfectly fine. I have it set to the first bank configuration (if you click the little bank settings button). Tabs enabled, showing first item.

What is this? I haven't experienced this at all Demonstration please
-
YES AWESOME RELEASE LAZ
-
You have been on OSBot too much. Take a week off.
-
Swizz, I'm experiencing this as well, but as you said, it hasn't been much of an issue for me.
-
Do you have a OSBot gitweb repo? If not, we need to get that take care of first. And I'll talk with Alek about when to open the SDN.
-
The interactions are amazing. Great job Laz!
-
YEAHHH LAZ thank you!
-
Convention nazi.

No, we're just gonna have a bot with nothing on it. JK Yeah some scripters are porting their scripts, others are making new ones.
-
Yay Swizz! All grown up now!
-
Yeah you're right it is a bot world, that confused me as well :P
-
I must say, I'm pleased with the interactions on objects. It's been pretty accurate, occasionally misclicking (just like a human would). Great job Laz!

Thanks Laz! Let's see how the mouse algorithms work

Yeah you will get a month free for any scripts that are converted. I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but unfortunately, this is the best plan that we've come up with.

Okay, so the developer will keep OSBot 1 up for 2-3 months to let people have time to switch over. Windows XP is a full OS, and it was standard for like 10 years, so of course they'll give people years to move over. Entire companies depended on XP. In our case I think 2-3, maybe 4 months is a suitabel time. And regarding the emulator, actually Laz made a post saying that the emulator would be supported for some time, but eventually we'd move to OSBot 2 only. I remember reading that post because it pissed me off at first (I didn't want to convert my code). And yes, I don't expect my software to be shut down 2 months after it gets release, but 1) unlike office, scripts need to be maintained, and 2) Unlike office, windows doesn't need to be updated for office to work. Because of this, the analogy to office isn't the best. I think a better analogy would be to a car. A car needs to be maintained. If an "update" occurs (eg. the car breaks), you need to fix it. You can buy accessories for the car (analogous to scripts). But if the car blows up, guess what, you don't take the accessories back to the store and be like "I want a refund." You still keep your OSBot 1 scripts, it's just OSBot 1 doesn't work anymore, just like you can keep your accessories, but they're useless without the car. And you don't get to just move your accessories to a new car cause it's a new car, your accessories aren't compatible.

I'm pretty sure the post right above yours answers your question... Because nobody has the time to keep 2 bots updated. And with the Windows XP argument, if somebody found a security vulnerability for XP tomorrow and exploited it, Microsoft wouldn't bother to fix it. Likewise, if Jagex releases an update to break OSBot 1, the devs won't bother updating it either. Just like there are software that are released that are no longer compatible with XP, the new scripts will not be compatible with OSBot 1. And all this about lifetime support etc etc. Nowhere on OSBot does it say that OSBot promises to support scripts for lifetime. If you honestly believe that scripts would be lifetime, I'm sorry, then you made a mistake when you bought the script. Stop blaming OSBot for the assumptions that you made. I'm looking at Swizzbeat's AIO Fisher. Does the scripter promise lifetime? Nope. Does his thread promise lifetime? Nope. Does the store promise lifetime? Nope. How about Purple's Rooftop? Scripter promise lifetime? Nope. Thread? Nope. Store? Nope. See a pattern? Yes. There isn't any other viable solution. We've already tried easing the transition by promising you guys 30 days of free access to converted scripts, but we can't force scripters to give you access for free now can we. If you think you have a better solution that both sides will like, post it here.

Idea is great. Just one question... Why wants to spend 500 bucks creating 60 accounts to get them banned in various ways...? and 60 isn't even statistically significant. also, I know that Laz is working on webwalking. He's shown me screenshots of his progress. It's coming along, and probably will be in by the official release.

Lol thanks :P And thanks Catastrophe for your very thoughtful input :P
