If he is fine with that as a solution, then yes. Although i think he should be entitled to more, but like i said, if you can sort it out between yourselves, that'd be great.

Also, to put this general idea that @RoomScape is purely doing this for "his benefit". He really isn't a very active individual, if anything, this is just him looking out for the rest of the community.

Again, we do our job and do it well. Our job isn't to go through every thread made, be it in the market or not, and look for offenders. Im not telling you we just sit idling until we do get a report, no. We skimmer through some threads occasionally. And no, i don't think any one of us (The staff team) care what people say about how we do our jobs.

And if you choose to ignore those posts without reporting them, theres a slim chance we will go on that thread and "dig for offences".

The majority do though. Not a common thing to find people trash talking a market thread or something like that.

That's the only thing we'll probably do something about actually. Probably prohibit people from posting that too, but we'll wait and see.

You can't expect us moderators to check every single thread in the market for spam and what not. If the members of the community are ignoring it, then theres a chance that we will too. Any posts that are reported which are spam or as you say in your post are removed and depending on the post, possibly even the poster is warned too.

We've taken a look at your suggestion and decided to do something about it. But to make it easier for us, we've made this for the sole purpose of people posting suggestions.

Alright, we're revamping the whole MM section and would like to put in place a set of harder requirements to be able to post a thread. Post your suggestions below. Spam posts will be removed and the poster will be given a warning.

This is actually a good suggestion IMO. MM's are underrated and taken for granted, while as you pointed out, should be amongst the most trusted on the site. Will see if i can discuss this amongst the staff team.
