He's solely the reason why the rockets have the record they have now. In OKC he won 6th man of the year. Once he was traded to Houston the first 3-4 games he dropped 40+. It's not a moment when he does it on a consistent basis. I mean Kobe was considered the greatest at one point and his FG % wasn't as good as hardens. This dude could pass the ball acceptionally well, rebounds, scores at will. The only thing that was a little shaky was his defense and that has improved. He was leading all SG's by averaging 1 steal + 1 block per game. ( Not impressive but an improvement ).
LeBron is averaging good stats but has struggled a few times ever since his arrival into Cleveland. You can even take this game as an example. LeBron took 35 shots and only made 15. Harden was much more consistent on fewer attempts.
