Is it totally unsafe to launch the client in stealth mode now? and is this related to the latest update in game and of the osbot client? If so, how to know when its safe(r) to run the client again?

Hi, I was wondering about the news that the Official Java Client won't be supported. Will this result in instant bans on the OSBOT stealth client because it is essentially pretending to be the legacy official client? Or does OSBOT impersonate Runelite? I guess the question is, will OSBOT still be usable after the legacy client is no longer supported? Couldn't find anyone else talking about this. Thanks.

Stealth, no invokes. Yes I think that should fix the problem. It just gets very excited and tries to relay 1-2 times more than it needs to . I also noticed an issue with teleporting back to bank with glory - I'll copy the log into DM.

ive used stealth for years with no issues. ive just tried to log in today and have a 2 week ban for 3rd party client

Lost a few accounts yesterday, but also have 2 accounts that have been going strong for nearly 5 months, over 50m xp gained between them. I start them after 7 pm UK time and run them for 6 hours until it's auto logged. Have been doing that daily for these last 5 months.

Alternatively if you don't want to make a custom break manager, you can simply tell the bot to go to an area before breaks are triggered by using this method that based pat improved recently: getBot().getTimeUntilNextBreak() this will tell you the time (in seconds now) until breaks will trigger. So if getBot().getTimeUntilNextBreak() < 20, walk to bank or walk to a safe area.

Got hit with a ban yesterday. Was botting for 4 month + and all of a sudden got hit with a ban. Zero Total level to 1900+. All my own personal scripts which I've never received a ban for. I always mix up what I'm botting and never bot more than 2 hrs without breaks. It has to be client detection, because I also decided to help my friend get a couple levels on an account that was never botted, ended up getting banned as well for just 2 hrs of botting with breaks, with my own script that I've never had issues for 4+ months. Both bans are only 2 days not perma banned, so its not an issue. I don't think its just a 'ban wave', has to do with jagex detecting the client like others have said and mentioned. Stay safe out there guys. Hopefully the devs can figure what is detecting the client.
