I have been confronted in-game various amounts from players saying things along the lines of - "Botter", "Trash account, botting nerd", "Reported" Recently one of these reports worked, and my account was banned. What did I do? I have an open ticket conversation via email with Jagex support and I mentioned the players in-game name from whom reported me, I was 99% sure this was the player whose report got my account banned, permanently. I explained to Jagex how being made redundant recently and having extra time on my hands to play the game and this how I'm repaid for putting in extreme amounts of effort. I also explained how players can get jealous in-game and that is what I went with when mentioning the person who reported me. I explained, or... I told them what I will be doing soon (my in-game goals, hours I play per day) to protect myself from future claims. Two days later Jagex replied to my email telling me how they've made a mistake, usually their detection system works well and further explained how they've rarely made any errors, they in-fact cleared my account of the 2 day ban which was applied along with the permanent ban (for the same report) Outcome? I have got my account back to play on with no concern of future bans. I have just noticed a player in-game today tell me how he knows I'm botting and how he's reported me, so I've just resent Jagex another email detailing the situation explaining how I'm in a no win situation. I can either reply to the guy so he doesn't report me, or continue playing by "hand" and ignore him, but either way this will make Jagex suspicious. I've asked for them to give me further information regarding how to go about this. As I have requested if playing with Public OFF will be a good decision, and what happens when I ignore in-game players after they abuse me and false report me. Why did I post this? To give some users of this site insight of various situations and outcomes. You can create a ticket to communicate with Jagex various ways. To be visualant with in-game players and possibly write down names of players who concern you so you have some sort of protection. Jagex only receive 60 seconds of a clip when you're reported. They don't get any further back dialogue unless they fish for it, you can say this player was purposely annoying you, he's an old friend whos turnt horrible, etc. --- I hope this helps at least one person, it would be great to hear if you have any similar stories or unique outcomes. I always bond directly to the account from my main, so much trading goes on I doubt they would ever do anything about trades without concrete proof of rwt or something

I buy membership codes from get taxed. 2 bucks for 16 days, 4 dollars for a month vs 11 paying jagex. Its a no brainer.

Just trade gp and bond account. Paying membership is too expensive, better buy gold and buy a bond and it's not very viable to farm 4-5M of gold in F2P you most likely get banned before you do that

Its doesn't always get locked if you switch proxies, if you use good resi proxy and then move lets say decent data center proxy you will not get locked. Also account selling is based on this, especially tutorial island accounts And the best way for you would just use 1 proxy on 1 virtual machine and on it run your 2 accounts on it, they both will have the same IP.

Nice, thank you for the suggestion. I had heard about this method but I'm not sure that I support it. As a network analyst, we do network access control based on MAC addresses. Vendors (like Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, etc) have something called an OUI - organizationally unique identifier. What this means is that the first 6 characters (out of 12) in any MAC address ever will depict the host/machines manufacturer or vendor. What this means to us is this: If Microsoft comes out with a security camera, ALL OF their security cameras now will have the OUI of ac:1a:44:X:X:X (where x.x.x is the host mac address portion). Now....these devices all can be automatically administered based on vendor OUI.... I can create a network access control rule to say, block any MAC address that hits my network with the OUI of ac:1a:44*. The * wildcard demeans that any character at all after ac:1a:44 will result in the rule being hit and that device being profiled/blocked. How does that translate to botting in Runescape? I can guarantee you that Jagex has means to identify and take actions against easy to spot patterns like this. If they notice 3 accounts are woodcutting at the same spot, same gear, same stats - 4 accounts are fishing in the same way, and 5 accounts are mining in the same way - ALL of which are accounts created with the FakeGmailAcc1@gmail.com, FakeGmailAcc2@gmail.com, and so on, it's INCREDIBLY easy for them to take action on all accounts. Now you just lost your entire bot farm in one single swoop. Plus any account of your that interacts with those accounts, based on IP address, credit card info, emails, in-game transactions, you can consider all those accounts banned. So this method may very well work for suicide farms - to me right now that's the only way I can see this method being useful. But that's ultimately not how I'm looking to proceed. I want clean and unique gmail and OSRS accounts.

When creating a new account, how are you getting it into P2P? Are you paypaling membership, buying a bond with IRL $, farming gold in F2P then buying it? Do you guys wait a period of time after creating account before getting mems and botting it there?
