Hey guys, been seeing a lot of requests in the ShoutBox for assistance with setting up a private socks proxy with OSB. So off we go You're going to need to purchase a private socks proxyYES, there are millions of free proxies out there, I cannot stress enough how ridiculously quick you will get perm banned with no chance of appeal using a free proxy. For purchasing I highly reccommend virmach.comI can personally vouch for their proxies, they are in fact new, and never recycled. They will also allow you to change your IP once for free per billing cycle. Why do I need a proxy? ​If you're botting on a connection that has previously had a ban/warning tied to it ​it may be wise to consider using a proxy. As soon as Jagex hits you with a ban, your IP will sooner or later be flagged, (obviously Jagex will not say, 'Hey, we're watching your IP!', so best to err on the side of caution and change/buy a proxy as soon as this happens). If you're sharing a connection with other botters Public cafe, dorm room, school lab, anything public that you cannot verify has NOT had a ban tied to it, again, best to err on the side of caution. I'll be back to add more reasons later. Purchasing Your New Proxy As I stated earlier, I have grown to trust and will swear by Virmach.com, so that is the site I'll be using for this guide. Proceed to this link: http://vpsgamers.com/runescape-botting-private-proxy/ The option you'll want to purchase is: Go with the Premium option, this is on the newer subnet, meaning you're less likely to encounter an IP that's had a run in with Jagex. Also the premium option allows you to change your IP for free once per billing cycle. After you hit order now, you'll have to create a hostname, which can be anything, ex: You do NOT want the $5 premium support. Because fuck all that noise, you will never use it. Your root password will be the password you enter into OSBot, so document it and do not forget it. After your purchase concludes, you'll get an email from the site saying your proxy is ready to use -- 'RS Proxy Information (Ready)' disregard the first email that comes through from the site. Once you have that email, onto the client end! Configuring OSBot with your new Proxy The email you receive from Virmach will look like this: Remember root will always be your username for utilizing this proxy. The username you configured on the site will only be for managing the virtualized server running your proxy. Now open up OSBot, and check 'Enable Proxy' and 'Enable Proxy Authentication' Enter the information from boxes 1, 2, 3 above into OSBot's 'Proxy Host', 'Proxy Port', and 'Proxy User' respectively. 'Proxy Password' will be the password you initially set in the early purchase phase. Click launch! If the bot shows a connection error in the debug window, you entered something incorrectly or there is an issue with your proxy. (I've never had the latter occur, but it could happen.) I found one account with the login '[staff omitted]' the email had the username '[staff omitted]' jotted down with it, i never remembered selling this account and couldn't remember the password so i did some digging through old membership payments (yes i didn't used to use bonds i was a noob) and managed to recover the account. Little did i know i had changed the name of this account to '[staff omitted]' and had actually sold the account to @Transaction. I logged into the account and below you will see what i found on the account. I would like to say i was horrified when i realised what was on the account and the fact it was training slayer, it obviously struck me that i had hacked the account back. Now, i am unsure whom was in possession of the account but they had near 30M in the inv alone. God knows what was in the bank, i wanted to check to show a print screen that i have NO intention of scamming this person regardless of if they are banned or not, but there was a pin, i am reporting this now so i can safely say i have not submitted a bank pin change request and have taken NOTHING from the account, i want to return the account to the rightful owner, i would like you to hide the username so the person who can confirm the username on this thread can have their account back. I am deeply sorry that this has happened but it was honestly an honest mistake and lack of organisation of jotting down the accounts i have sold. I am no scammer and love this community, however i understand if i must be moved to TWC and if this is a bannable offence then so be it i am not above the rules. I left the account in Lumbridge as the account only had one days membership and was in a members zone. NOTHING on the account has been touched. Evidence: [omitted]

Thanks for the tips! Bug? (Using ''choose from screen'') I encountered one problem when I started mining Iron Ore at Varrock South-West, it didn't bank when the inventory was full. It stands there and does nothing, I waited for 5 minutes and clicked once in the direction of the bank, as I did that, it continued. But then the same problem started all over again when the inventory was full. Small update 12:22: As I used ''Choose from list'' it was fixed and walked straight to the bank when the inventory was full. Still maybe something to fix at ''Choose from screen'' when mining at Varrock South-West. Small update 15:05: There is clearly something going on with the banking, when mining Iron Ores at Varrock South-west it doesn't bank unless you click once the path towards the bank. Both methods fail, list/screen picking. When powermining everything seems fine.

As others have reported recently it has been having issues. I hope this all gets resolved soon, was a good script until the issues.

In Rimmington when you choose the iron ore from screen he mines one and runs away, then runs back. When you use the list mode, he runs around crazy trying to get every rock, hardly gets anything because it decides to go for a different rock mid-run. So far I've had an extremely poor experience.
