The bots regulate the prices on a lot of items primarily focusing on F2P moneymaking sources, thus deeming it near impossible to scrape the cash together to buy a bond and therefore forcing people to pay their actual cash for membership. It's a pretty good marketing advantage for Jagex.

They are never getting rid of the bots.

Removing bots would cost jagex a lot of money. They are a business first and a game company second. It's the same with counter strike and cheaters. They could implement better anti-cheat, but they would lose out on a ton of copies being bought after cheaters accounts get banned. No one would bot/cheat if they got banned instantly.

i guess 10k+ bot account still alive atm and a guess that at least 10% of the bots memberships are bought with irl cash. so ~$7000 monthly if they dont get banned and rebuy on a new account.

The other 90% buy bonds which are bought by other players. so ~$90,000 on bonds used on bots monthly
