i log on, see 10+ notifications on bell, click on it.

the next day i see even more.

and it just goes from there, anyway to fix my notifications button thing?

You mean it keeps on loading without actually ever showing them? 

I've had this before when I was using edge, when I swapped over to chrome I haven't had the problem (yet?)

You could try a different browser or clearing browser data in the one you're using.

yeah, it loads it but never shows.

It's not history, it's cookies and cache mostly :P
