Realist Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 for a seller? if i just want to receive payments how much safer is it for me in comparison to the likes of PayPal? (regarding reversibility) i know BTC & bank transfers are pre much the safest, but i wanted to use skrill as an alternative to PP a bit more often.
Starcraft Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 safe enought. cant open disputes. i was scammed there few years ago for over 600 euros but they cant do anything because they dont have the system like paypal. im using myself skrill on sales, easy to use and good support.
Scott Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 What is the difference between skrill and paypal? I had never heard of skrill before osbot
Starcraft Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) What is the difference between skrill and paypal? I had never heard of skrill before osbot Skrill safe for people who sells something. No chargebacks. Skrill is known as Moneybookers. Edited March 31, 2016 by nerd187
Zikama Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Not that much better than Paypal tbh. They have worse customer support than Paypal at least, so they're a hassle to even get in touch with.

Realist Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 Bad customer support, only good for the seller. so if i sold via skrill chargebacks are unlikely ?
Zikama Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 don't really care about customer support, just only about reversibility, what's your experience re; that Trust me you will, when your account gets limited or something.
Realist Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 Trust me you will, when your account gets limited or something. but what reason would they have to limit me? why did they limit you
Zerker Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 but what reason would they have to limit me? why did they limit you I've had skrill almost 2 years, Never had any limitations as i verified everything in the first week. Never had a charge back never had issues. just make sure you set up your account properly first try or you'll have to make a new one. 1
Zikama Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 but what reason would they have to limit me? why did they limit you No idea, it seems like they just do sometimes without a valid reason. Don't think you can email them, they'll never reply, only option is phone call, with overpriced call rates, poor english speaking agent etc. I did manage to remove my limit however after about 40 minutes of continuesly phone calls.

Zikama Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 40 minutes is nothing compared to the hours i've had to be on the phone to paypal w/ I didn't answer your questions accordingly, No I've never had a Skrill chargeback, altho I'm probably only done 2% of my total transactions thu it. I know for sure it can happen, just as with Paypal, altho it might not be so often. It's not as secure as Bitcoin or Neteller however.
