MaC: Bot Client will not Open

I have had success running previous clients on my Mac but I downloaded version 2.4.43 and now I receive an error message when I try to open the file: 

 

"Java Jar file "OSBot 2.3.43 could not be launched. Check the Console for Possible Error Messages"

 

Any Mac users have any suggestions?

Did you check the console? Is your java version up to date?

Im a huge nub at this.. how do I know if my java is up to date? I checked the console but I feel like a girl looking under the hood of her car when it stops working lmao
