I know a few other bots do this, where the jar you download is simply an updater that then runs the main bot jar which is always saved in the same place e.g. your OSBot folder. I think it's better because it stops you filing your downloads folder with old versions and means that script writers don't need to keep switching which jar I add to the java build path.

There are some advantages and disadvantages, as of now there are too many other things that I have going on. It's not a bad suggestion, but unfortunately this would take a while until you will see it so I'm going to move this to the archive.
