Question about Paypal/Bank Account

Featured Replies

Am I able to purchase membership on runescape or anything for that matter with my bank account if it is linked to my paypal? I've read on their site that you can do something of the sort but I'm wondering if it'll hold my payment for 3+ business days or something stupid. I need to get back into the game asap.

Has anyone tried this?

Yeah i think you can, when you go to buy it will let you choose a payment method, and you can choose paypal credit or you can choose to pay via card

The reason I can almost guarantee why it's not working (this is the problem like 95%+ of the time) is because your bank/card isn't allowing you to make payments to Jagex since they are out of the country.

that's something you have to override with the bank itself..you've got to call them. I have had to do it in the past just to make sure it's allowed since i have had this problem multiple times in the past..it's a good safety net though.

The only reason you would have a delay on paypal is if you pay with an e-check which takes 3-10 days to clear. otherwise with a balance or card its instant

alright I'll give it a go. I've held off on buying anything yet but I think I'll go for it. I just hate when you get screwed over because they decide to hold onto your money for dumb reasons.

if it works I may never transfer money to my paypal account again (it takes 6-8 business days for canadians) and just pay out of my bank lol
