Webwalking stuck

Featured Replies

I had the same in mines, now when testing fishing I had this as well.

Basically the web walker doesn't work when it's on "less common" tiles.

I think it happens when some directions are clipped?

Version: 2.4.33

Didn't have this issue in 2.4.29

By the looks of it it are spots (source spots) that have a clipped boundary like rocks and water.

Right now I'm fishing and trying to webwalk to the al kharid bank (random position)

The positions where I'm at to fish (and where im stuck) are:

3267, 3149

3276, 3141

Also just got stuck on the way to the bank:

3276, 3156

Edit: Do you want me to intercept the "random position" to the bank?

However it happens every time on every "random position" so I doubt the destination is the issue

Edit: I made a gif of the situation, it's like it doesn't know the area because as you see in the end the web walker immediate picks up when it's on the other side of the bank.

yes, I need you to intercept the random position you are trying to walk to

There you go:

Source: (x: 3275, y: 3141)

Destination: (x: 3268, y: 3164)

In the next version of OSBot, we have a few things to help resolve this issue:

1. There is a new method in the Walking class, Walking.webWalk(Area)
2. Area class setPlane() returns "this". aka Area area = new Area(x1,y1,x2,y2).setPlane(0);

3. "Banks" have been updated with their correct planes

So I'm assuming that when I get stuck in the middle of a path that's also the case.

What's the fitting function to check this, getMap().canReach() Can reach if is the position is visible if im right?

The only way (and very costly) to check if tiles that are not on local map reachable - is to try to find a path via webwalker.

However just like Alek has stated - to address issues like this we are adding

webWalk(Area area)

in the next build which will walk to a first reachable position within that area.

Alright I should just wait for the next update then. Thanks
