End of Spice & Wolf light novels had me like

10 months, 17 novels, over 4000 pages of reading and countless hours later... Quite possibly the most perfect ending ever. It was really amazing seeing the continuity throughout the series and seeing old characters from as far as volume 1 make a return for the ending.

A large part of what made this story unique was that unlike most fantasy stories, which were about swords or sorcery, this was about economics during the middle ages(and romance). There were action/fight scenes too, although not a lot but when they happened, they were fairly significant and there was a purpose. The point is it's a mostly intellectual series, and you'd be surprised how much more intense and entertaining the harsh business dealings were than any of the fighting scenes. Bottom line If you like reading fantasy or romance stories, I strongly recommend this series. There's also an anime adaptation that covers volumes 1,2,3 and 5 but remembers there's 17 volumes, which is a fuck ton of source material, and you'll never know what happens unless you go back to volume 4 and read onwards wink.png.

MFW the story I spent nearly two years obsessing about is over. I am not sure what to do now. I can't see myself picking up another series to read due to time constraints. I think I will just be reading my casebooks only from now on so I can grow up to be a big and powerful attorney.

Thanks for reading emote1.png
