this happens with most modern laptops, only background features will run, and it will temp hold shell.exe's and such.

The reason it's like it's sleeping is because it basically is. Just do what everyone else said and you'll be fine.

Well if you have sleeping disabled and it still sleeps when you close, then your laptop is broken.

consider buying a virtual private server helps so much

insomniaX is a good program.... but it does make your comp rev up a fair bit..

just get a laptop cooler and keep it open

my laptop has been running 24/7 for a few week. just remove the battery and run it off on power. set the screen saver to on though to reduce energy usage.

Don't close your laptop lid whilst botting, the heat from the CPU is too much for the monitor to handle and will over time cause dead pixels.

Go to your laptop settings and set it to "Do nothing when the lid is closed"

clean the fan of the computer :) same problem was happening to me and i cleaned then it was fixed. basically, since ur pc fan has a lot of dust in it. it quickly heats up and the pc auto-sleeps to prevent you pc from breaking.
