Well this isn't following his guide, try using Debian 7 and follow his guide and it works fine no hassle and 5-10 mins setup

Well this isn't following his guide, try using Debian 7 and follow his guide and it works fine no hassle and 5-10 mins setup

 

His will have similar issues due to "curl" package not being available, these are "minimal" server builds. They have barebones required features, and Okabes also uses curl :x

You are using my installer, not Okabes (I think atleast? lol). I linked you to mine for ubuntu, his is for debian 7. Heres a link for reference:
