Changing IP adress

Featured Replies

Would simply unplugging my modem for a few hours help? Im pretty sure i am flagged . Made an account and while it was doing tutorial island for me with a script it logged out and tried to log back in and it said acocunt disabled.

Going to take a break from botting but just wonder if i reset my modem/router would that help get me unflagged?

Thanks

If your isp refreshes their IPs during the time that your modem is unplugged, then yes it will reset your ip.

How often and when your isp refreshes depends on then company.

It only works if you got a dynamic IP. it wouldnt work with a static IP

Thank you dude! So basically once my ip adress changes i will be fine?

The weird thing is that I purchased a new vpn and set it on the bot and it still got me banned.. litteraly 5 mins into doing tutorial island. Maybe it was becasue i created the acocunt on my ip adress.

Thanks for your input!

Adam can you elaborate a little bit please

Another issue is that Tutorial Island is monitored. Jagex probably keeps an eye out for new accounts. I'd recommend NOT bottling tutorial island, it's like walking through a minefield.

If he is asking this question, he has a dynamic IP.

ISPs do not assign a static ip address to residential by default. Even upon request, many isps would deny a residential static ip.

Static ips are typically used only for businesses.

They ban ip ranges in most games, so probably in rs too. So router unplug wont work .
