Running OSBot on OS X, Can I have a trial of Mirror mode?

Featured Replies

Hey I am running OSBOT on OS X. Already the frame rates drop to 15-20 if 2 java clients are running. I'm wondering if I can have a trial of even 10 minutes to see if my computer can handle mirror mode, if it can I'll go ahead and purchase VIP.

I don't believe we are allowed to do this, I may be wrong though.

I would just buy Vip for 1 month see if you like it if u dont atleast u get discounts from buying bots

Edit - I know OS X is a niche, probably 5% of your user base. So i get it if its too much work to sort out! Thats why most game devs don't bother making anything for us haha

You have to use "oldschool(insert world number here).runescape.com

It won't recognize the downloadable client.

Going on the website just redirects it to open the client (application). Tried this on Chrome and Safari.

Edit: ' El Capitan users - you must have java 8 to play as java 6 no longer is able to be installed. So check this first if the client wont load just to be sure!

Cannot play in browser

It's not possible to play in the browser anymore, it'll just redirect you to the game client due to java being removed from the browsers. Download new client' from http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?25,26,4,65321326

Don't use the website, you have to manually enter the world number in the URL like I just said above. See the picture. If that doesn't work, try firefox because it works perfectly fine on my Mac biggrin.png

Edit: just saw your edit... it works fine for me so I don't know what to tell you :(

It kinda works now. With firefox and the link you posted! the FPS drop is more than manageable. But unfortunately the script I want to run (RC) is not working properly. Enters the abyss and just stands there. I'll grab VIP when more beta testing has been done! Thanks for your help dude.

No problem :D  You can replace "42" with any world number you want.
