Anyone played it, if so opinions? It looks awesome so I'm thinking of buying it.

I haven't but I know of it.

It gives me an Earthbound vibe(another great RPG for the Super Nintendo).

If I am not mistaken undertale has no combat whatsoever? I found that strange but that doesn't mean it can't be a good game just different and there's nothing wrong with that =).
