so I just got a 2 day ban (bot busting moderate) on my pure so I think this means that if I get banned again it is perm? I really want to bot it again. I was thinking that I could get a VPN and "hack" my own account and then if it gets banned, I recover it from my normal IP address, then I will likely win an appeal for the offence and I can just say that it was the hacker that botted. Do you think this is worth doing?

They would probably roll back your account, so it's a waste of time.

I think it is worth the attempt. It would make sense for them to give the account back, but no guarantees.

This is sure an interesting way of getting unbanned. I would have never thought of this lol. Good idea but i'm with Khanz, it sounds like a waste of time, honestly.

So you had another ban after a bot busting moderate that wasn't permanent?

 

And they do read appeals, the reason why I thought of this idea was that a few years ago I was hacked and got unbanned because it was the hacker who committed the offence. (It was a website advertising ban).

Lol I just got banned while not even botting I botted banked my stuff logged out went to bed logged in was putting in my pin and got bot busting ban moderate, next ban IS a perm ban for any one.

 

Also JaGeX currently are NOT dealing with permenant bans so NO your method would NOT work even if you have vid proof of some one coming in your house pointing a gun at your head for your account and loading up a bot to bot. (Obviously exgerated but they will not unban you whatever the reason)

 

This works on WoW, but I heard that if you got banned for botting in 07, the appeal automatically gets denied.

quit botting or bot. simple as that lol. If you care about account you obv won't bot again.
