So I'm making a new pure and I was wondering what gear setup to wear when cannoning 1-40(fresh off tut island). Also how do i determine which attack style I am using for the bonus? Help would be nice

Wear the max range bonus you can, so robin, archer ring, stuff like that. If you use a crossbow whilst you cannon at ogres you can get about 40kxp/hr +. Don't think attack style matters.

Most likely the Ogres like everyone else has said because you can safespot them

1-40 range is like 2k cballs i did it on my pure at castle war orges but if i would have done biohazard i bet the caged orges would have been quicker since less spread out and more of them

I did 1-34 at rock crabs with about 1k cballs in maybe 30 minutes if it helps, just normal range gear any 1 defence pure would have.
