Banned After 2 Hours of using Khaleesi's PC Bot

I KO I

Recommended Posts

First time OSBot user and first time OSRS botter here.

I have botted before (never have been banned) but that was before EOC and before RS turned to shit. Never have I botted on OSRS.

Now that it is the summer time, I decided to give RS another go after long hiatus.

Also, if you recognize my name, it's because I have been a member of Sythe.org since 2007.

Background of the account: Level 81 zerker, used basic zerker gear (torso, rune legs, rune boots, d scim, rune defender, b helm, glory).

As you can see, I joined OSBot for the first time yesterday, at around 4pm CST.

I was looking for different botting sites based off of reviews on Sythe and info that I could gather off each botting website.

Saw the reviews for Khaleesi's bot and decided what the hell, might as well try it out.

Well, I started up the bot and kept my eye on it as it worked, never having used a script since OSRS came out, I wanted to make sure all went well. This is also why I only botted for a grand total of a spaced out 2 hours.

The first session lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. I decided to take a break, didn't want to overdo it at first, and logged off and didn't log back on until 1 hour later.

The second session lasted 40 minutes, wanted to get in some last minute PC points before I headed off to bed (I have 40 hour a week summer job).

I did not log back into the account until about 1 hour ago, around 3:25 pm CST.

Once I logged in, I immediately was kicked off the server and DCed.

I logged back in and received the message that my account had been disabled.

I went to the message center and there it was, the first ban I have ever received on any version of  RS. Although it is only a 48 hour ban, the fact that I botted for 2 hours total  with a 1 hour break in between and it wasn't even one continues time is absolutely outrageous!  Remember, this is the first time I have botted on OSRS, I had always personally trained my accounts.

So if the regular client is detectable, why isn't this broadcasted on the actual client or as an announcement for all to see? Especially for those that are new to the forum.

Yes, I realize what can happen when you bot, but if the client is that detectable that 2 measly hours gets you banned, then that is a terrible business model if the there is no easily viewable (meaning not having to dig through threads) announcement stating that the regular client will get you banned.

After all, OSBot is a business and it is astounding that they would still offer a product  to their customers if they knew that the regular client was as easily detectable as it is...

Lol... You guys are missing the point...

Yeah, obviously botting is against the rules, that's how sites like these thrive.

The point of the matter is, if a business is going to keep on using a shitty and outdated form of technology that has a high failure rate (in this case bans) then they might want to have it on the front page that their standard client has a very high chance of getting you banned. Instead of the other way around.

And yes, I would use the mirror client,  but then I realized it's not Mac supported. Yes, there are ways around that, such as bootcamp, but I do not have a copy of Windows at this time.

Well I am pretty sure PC has a high ban rate, that with using standard client makes the chances really high. I see standard as a way to test out the bots on crappy accounts or to try and gold farm till you make enough to get vip.

VIP is what, $10? The script is another $10. Problem is, newcomers aren't going to know that they should get VIP for the mirrors client since the standard client is shit and they don't know that because it doesn't say on the actually client itself, that "stealthy injections" (cute name btw) is basically a bread crumb trail for Jagex.

Am I mad that i got banned? No I have experience botting. The point that I'm trying to get across, is that if the standard client is shit, then market is as being shit. That's all. Newcomers shouldn't have to be diving through the forums looking at old threads where there are mixed reviews.

If a version is going to get you detected in under 2 hours, then state that. That way people know what they are working with.
