Low FPS on high-end VPS

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Just switched from Advertising other bots isn't allowed. to OSbot, and It's great so far, runs fine on my PC and Laptop but on my VPS (which used to run about 10 Advertising other bots isn't allowed.s) starts to lag at the 3rd bot, if I open more then 4 OSbots starts to freeze up. The VPS is using 8 Xeon cores and used to run 10 Advertising other bots isn't allowed.s just fine (without any lag so it could probably run more)

Is this a bug or can I not run more then 3 OSbots? (I have attached a screenshot below with my specs/usage/FPS)

As you can see FPS is only 8 (and cpu usage is 9%)... And when running more then 3 bots it drops down to 1 or 2 FPS and OSbot starts freezing/crashing.

^^ And yes I know about the memory leak thats why I only have 2 bots per client.

Also would like to add that sometimes OSbot crashes when logging in/out (When running more then 3 bots)

Java is up2date, so thats not the problem.

It's impossible to run more than three tabs for some reason. Try using multiple clients instead of tabs.

EDIT

Couldn't see the screenie at first :V. it was glitched.

Idk the reason why. i'm dumb

Tried turning debugs off, no change. Also when the bot starts walking FPS drops to about 3 or 4 and CPU usage goes up to about 20%. As you can see from the screenshot I'm only running 2 tabs per client.

I am running 4 bots on a client fine... My FPS ranges from 30-50 each 4 bots on that client (obviously low cpu usuage is off..) I am also running 8 Xeon cores on my vps :P 16ghz total and 14GB of RAM.

It's RDP lag, and is that a windows azure VPS?

Yes it is. It runs about 10-12 bots fine with Advertising other bots isn't allowed. without any lag.

I run 8 bots on a single client on a macbook pro (lowest specs there is) with barely any lag, so I don't think it's a client issue

Runs fine on my PC and laptop too.

What I mean by that its stream lag, so when you're not viewing it, it should run at a higher FPS.

you could change some settings in the RDP program, in the end it runs fine when not viewing.

Not sure, it completely freezes sometimes (greyes out) when I have more then 3 bots running, also Anon said that he is running 4 bots with no lag. I can run 10 Advertising other bots isn't allowed.s just fine... I'm not sure whether my VPS doesn't like OSbot or that it is a bug in OSbot itself. Back to Advertising other bots isn't allowed. I guess... :(

Stream lag wouldn't affect the actual FPS of the bot, it would just make it seem like it's running slower. Doubt this is it.

Actually stream lag does effect the FPS of the bot, turning down quality increases it.

OT: it sounds like osbot is memory leaking downloading memory cleaner and running it will help solve the problem, some VPSs are different than others.

Interesting. Will give it a try and post back with results smile.png

Edit: Tried it, didn't work, still the same FPS :/

Edit 2: Running 3 bots now on 1 client. FPS between 20-40. However running 2 bots on a client and another bot on another client still get like 9 or 10 FPS.
