im having issues with demon butler, it will just tell him to fetch planks once and when i run out i never talks to the butler again

Apologies for the delayed response, was with friends & family.

Did you read the startup instructions as per the OP and follow them for 100%? The majority of all supposed issues with the butler mode are caused by improper setup.

It automatically progresses through different objects when leveling up. But it's honestly in beta and not entirely stable so if you encounter issues with it, its best to stick to the regular mode.
