Description of the bug/error:

Prior to 2.3.67, Inventory#getItems would always return an array of size 28.

Post 2.3.67, the returned array size cuts off any slots with null values. Eg. if your last item is in slot 25, the returned array has size 25. This breaks a lot of scripts that rely on inventory iteration. As well as making the inventory debugger spam exceptions.

 

The primary issue being that Inventory#getItemInSlot(slot) throws ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exceptions if the inventory array does not have the required size.

Instructions how to replicate the bug/error:

Log into the game without an item in slot 28. (As soon as an item has been placed there, arrays will have 28 in length, even after the item has been removed again).
