if im botting on my pure and playing legit on my main, could my main be banned? thx

Highly unlikely , I have a maxed main and Ive botted other account that have gotten banned and my main is fine. This is been over the course of 5 years :P

Chain bans have been known to occur I think. Although I've had accounts banned and my main was unaffected.

i have had alts banned while playing my main. yet i know people who had all accounts banned its 50/50 but my main has never been botted

I've got 7 accounts banned by botting and no ban on maxed main

If you have not botted on your main, then your main is safe. Chances are, you probably have, and when they check your records they'll ban it even though you claim you never did, (remember that time you auto clicked for alching? Yeah).

Nah it's flagged but it won't get banned as long as you don't bot on it.

as long you dont bot on it you should be fine
