And you can just add like random(-2,2) to your x and y coord's to make it random, similar to walking to an area? It isn't worth posting up to get others banned either. The problemo with this is you could end up with one of the positions not being reachable (eg a tree or the other side of a fence or whatever) which makes this a little tricky. You would have to iterate each generated position through a canreach check and it'll all get a little messy but yes in theory it would work if randomisation is what you're after !

That's why I scout my path out, and make sure all tiles are reachable and determine how much to vary each coordinate by based on that.
