!JAGEX BAN SPREE! Bot carefully.

Featured Replies

Jagex has been banning A LOT of accounts lately, take a break, overview every bot and don't overdo it for the upcomming 7-14 days

I got 12 old bot accounts (that were up for 4 weeks so far) banned in one day, 2 hours later my 7 freshly created accounts that were <2 days old got banned as well.

Numerous reports from my friends came in that the same thing has happened to them over a course of 7 days

Be careful, Jagex is upping their game

Regards

What were you botting?

Were you on a VPS?

Edit:

& I'm pretty sure this thread is in the wrong section.

^ Bots were spread across multiple nodes botting at several places using only private/self-written scripts, paid with various sources (paypal, upgrades, bank cards, ..)

These variables don't matter, jagex is doing some major work currently

Are you on  a VPS?

^ Most are, some are not, got banned nonetheless

where did you bot?

In common places?

What exact locations are you at? If you're botting chins or yews it's obvious you would get banned quicker. Another thing I've seen is they'll ban one account then look at your IP and ban the rest associated with the IP address.

@debot, some where botting at crowded locations indeed, but others where doing things that currently no bot is developed for.

@Albatross, I've got 6 different IP's under a totally different A.b.c.d and in different countries.

Guys, this is just a heads-up post, not a post 'You were banned because you did that wrong' thread.

Just be careful.

It's all good man we appreciate the warning, it's just that it would be nice to know what exact locations you were at so we can avoid them for now. Also depends if you were botting 24/7 (all night) or just during certain times of the day. If you use a VPS it's most likely you were 24/7 botting, which definitely would explain things (not saying you were though).

thanks man, running woodcutting at 7 hours fine right now  :)
