Yea thats usually the way it is, but its the best profit, your just wasting your money buying other stuff.

You'll always have a surplus of points sadly, but just stick with herb boxes since anything else isn't worth your time. However, if you're planning on getting 99 range you can save them for absorption potions and use the dwarven rock cake method if anything. Best of luck with your decision.
