It wont let me connect because of an unknown host then it tells me to report here. so what do i do?

The following commands fixed it on my Debian (linux) box:

# apt-get install openjdk-7-jre
# update-alternatives --config java

then select openjdk-7-jre as default.

if you have a different OS please tell us which one.

Update to Java 8 Update 40.
