no, that's very naive to think. Sure it may make your account look like the owner cares about it, but that does not mean Weath will not ban you 

I don't see how this would affect ban rates in any way, nor have I ever heard this before.

I remember people had theories when JAG came out that it was a way to find botters, but I don't think both authenticator or JAG affects ban rates.
