And if I recovered it myself, then I would have access to the account, the account wouldn't just be locked. It is not recovered by anyone as nobody has access to the account because this genius decided it would be wise to get someone ELSE onto the account.

Can we see screenshots of the email you sent them or the recovery process? Usually the results of a normal recovery are known right after the recovery process.

I went ahead and banned the user, he failed to cooperate and to back up his claims with screenshots of the attempted recovery. So he either didn't want to cooperate or he already recovered it himself. I'm sorry for your loss.
