Should be diff way imo..

He switches name, buys a bond and switches it again to make it available. You take name

you gotta get him to change his name twice, as the first time your previos name is protected.  You can do this with the 1 free name change + a bond.

Be cautious when making these kinds of trades! But it can be done for sure w/ the methods previously stated.
