Problems loading local scripts - MAC

Featured Replies

So installed this client for the first time, registered account, downloaded scripts from Store, and the client just can't load the local scripts.

Any help?

See photo for detail on what I mean.

A lot of people are having this issue at the moment

make sure you have the latest version of Java.

Also Downloading JDK usually helps any Java related issues.

Here's a link to JDK;

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html

If this doesn't work it can be resolved with a few restarts.

I do have the current JDK, downloaded it earlier and Java is up to date as well.

If you have any local scripts get rid of them and try it then.

If it still persists get rid of your OSbot folder and re-download.

Okay I may have actually missed the JDK thing. Is there a specific JDK for Mac version 10.6.8? I think that is the highest mine can go due to it being the discontinued Macbook.

Any updated JDK version that's compatible with Macintosh should be alright

That is what I tried before but it says it is only supported by 10.7.3 or later.

My computer can't go to 10.7.3 it doesn't run on Lion. It's on Snow Leopard. I can only go to 10.6.? not 10.7.?

Ah alright try to install that version of the other site, then if it persists continue to restart.

Not entirely sure why this is happening at the moment.

Okay so JDK has been downloaded and installed.

Still getting the same thing.

Let me know what you think I should do next.

I'm taking off for the night but I will respond tomorrow when I wake up!

If you have any local scripts, remove them and keep trying.

It should sign you in properly and load.

if it does just add the .jar's back into your scripts folder and refresh the local scripts tab.

Open terminal and type in

java -version

Post the output please.
