So I finally am able to login, start a script tab, start and load the script client and choose which account to use. The problem is, the game client doesn't show up, it's just a gray screen and then it disconnects after a few minutes of the script running on nothing. Not sure what to do?

I'm guessing when you say start a script tab you mean clicking the green '+' button in the top right, if not, be sure to do that to load the Runescape Client.

 

At the moment the Runescape login servers are having problems which may effect the client, however if you're just getting a grey screen make sure you have the latest version of Java.

 

Also Downloading JDK usually helps any Java related issues.

I followed everything you said (Updating and downloading JDK), and it started up smoother in general, but the game interface still won't load and it gives me this when I use the (+):

This issue has been happening to people yesterday and today, try deleting your OSBot folder.

Like Emma said, try completely deleting your OSbot folder and re-downloading.
