Austria

Around 1,8k€   including a monitor

And Yes I am on pc24-store.de here you can add whatever you want.

So I am fine with a full hd monitor with 1920 x 1080 ?

Yeah 1080p is fine, though this is personal preference, I would recommend looking at IPS panels.

I'd never recommend buying a monitor that isn't IPS, typically other panel types will look awful in comparison.

Yes but I have too less knowledge about computers to tell them which parts to use :/

That's what we're here for, not to mention it will inevitably cost you less. Edited by TwitchFast

I suggest you buy them yourself from amazon, then take the parts to the shop for them to build.

Here is an example, compared to the 1600 PC it has a worse CPU (it's so powerful anyway it won't make much difference), better storage (an SSD and a 1 tb Hard Drive). It also has a better Graphics card.

Wow, thanks a lot man!

Really, very nice from you!

I think you have a wrong link for the case?

While not a bad build, you didn't actually link a case, instead you linked a 4690 as a case.

I would've picked both a different GPU vendor and a different CPU heatsink, no point buying an AIO if he won't overclock.

The motherboard is also questionable, an mATX with only two RAM DIMMS, not to mention he has zero SATA ports for extra HDD's.

I wondered why the PSU was so expensive.. 750w?

My mistake, I meant to link this: http://www.amazon.de/Corsair-PC-Geh%C3%A4use-Graphite-interne-schwarz/dp/B00LA6X38O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424911434&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+380t  (And it's gone up in price sad.png)

I didn't look into which gpu vendors are good this generation, I just went for a cheap one that fits in the case and looks ok and you are right about the CPU cooler.

If you had seen the case, I expect the motherboard choice would have made more sense:

As for the PSU, I wanted to choose a reliable one that doesn't have those bright, ugly cables since the rest of the system is black/white

I know that it's traditional to get a mid tower/micro atx/full tower but when it doesn't impact on performance and you won't be using more than one PCIe card I really think that there isn't any reason to not get a mITX system since it's so much more portable and wastes less desk space. What do you think?

Typically you'll want to look at either Asus/MSI cards and XFX (Dual Dissipation) if available.

I had wondered if the case was mITX, though that case costs an awful lot.

I personally would recommend an mATX build at least, that way the system can fit a multitude of upgrades at a later date, mITX (naturally) results in a severe loss of interfaces.

HDD wise it's better to leave upgrade options available, that way if OP does feel the necessity to upgrade, it's a viable option.

Unfortunately Corsair CX units aren't reliable in the slightest, the only units that are remotely reliable would be the RM/HX/AX units as they're manufactured by SeaSonic (imo the best PSU manufacturer).

I get where you're coming from :P Though I can't say I know anyone that has their system on their desk, and I used to believe portability was a concern.. but I carry my 750D around and tbh it's not that bad.
