Gold Farm RAM Question?

Featured Replies

So I've been working on making my own gold farm for a little while now and have kept asking myself how I am to run these bots. I have like 6 GB of RAM on my main computer.... so i think ill be able to run 2-3 bots tops without crashing or whatever. Any experienced farmers or anyone that knows.... how would i be able to achieve multiple bots without that happening? Is it something to do with like a VPS or whatever? I'm not to sure on this so I'm asking for some beginners guidance.

Thanks Guys!

6 gb ram is more than enough for 3 bots but whats your processor, that makes the real difference

It depends on the CPU as well you can have 30gb ram with a shit processor and can only run 2 bots, VPSs have high performance CPUs so should be able to handle more bots with less ram.

Well I wanna run maybe 8 in the future... but 4ish will be what i do now.... but I'm not entirely sure (im not home so i cant check it) but id have to say 2.6 ghz.... if i wanted to run a lot more bots (lets say 20+) would i then need to invest in a VPS or something?

Thanks

What would you say 2.6 ghz would do (with 6gb ram?)

By you saying 2.6ghz is giving me no information, I require the exact CPU model, you can use speccy or this or CPU z http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

If you're running 20 bots its wise to invest in a VPS.

Yes mate, it will become necessary at that point unless you are ready to throw a lot of money to buy a computer.

2.6ghz doesnt say much to me but ill assume its an i3? If so, about 3 bots with no lag and 4-5 with moderate lag and above that, horrible and constant lag and 100% cpu usage

Like I said I'm not home to check it.... so i couldn't tell you right now.... but i have a feeling its not that spectacular.... but i probably will be getting a VPS soon anyway... and I'll probably need an entire explanation on how to use that ahaha.... but I'll cross that bridge when i get there ahaha

Yea that sounds about right... i couldn't imagine using more that 4 on 1 computer.... once I'm ready ill be getting a VPS to handle higher bot count.

with this bot, your CPU is just as important as ram, as running it on reqs a good CPU but the mem leak is starting te become a bitch after a few hours too >.>

a 2nd gen i3 should be able to run about 3-4 orso when you have cleanmem

If your cpu isn't all that great, you can check the less cpu option and run more bots

Overlock <3

I got my CPU from 3.8 GHz to 4.6 GHz lol.

Overclocking an i3 running 2.6ghz would be stupid lol
