Botting and bans.

Featured Replies

Im a veteran botter. Several other runescape bots used for years, and as i type this im botting 8 accounts on world of warcraft right now. But, it seems runescapes days are damn near done as far as long term botting goes. Are there some scripts that are like insta-ban or something? because i stopped playing for a year or so when jagex hired jacmob to destroy bots. And i come back, find out bots are back up and running, so i started botting again. 2 days later i got banned.

Is there any FACTUAL info about botting and what is a little less risky than others?

I know the basics.

-Dont bot any account you care about

-bot only 4-12 hours a day if you do care and take breaks

-dont bot obvious places because you get banned via player reports

anything updated to add to this? For my knowledge and other peoples knowledge.

The bot system now is way way way way way better than it was 1st year of osrs thats why ;/

Seems understandable. Theyre on top of their shit. Runescape has gained such a bad reputation over the years due to bots that theyre trying to bring the game back. osrs was in hopes that all the real players would play osrs and they could prevent botting. Theyre so close, but so far away.

Some scripts are more likely to get you banned than others. It's 99% the script quality though, not anti-ban. But yeah at times botting can be very difficult but even I have gotten 50+ hours straight picking flax.

yeah i was botting chaos druids

in ardy, on a 40 player world. in the little room where theres only like 4 druids. and i was botting only a couple hours at a time. like 4-5 with 2-4hr breaks.

I think it's all luck, since I was banned on an acc after 2 days and on another one after 3 weeks of Iron mining.

yeah, its def luck. but i think regardless youre getting banned. i botted all my skills on my one pure pre eoc to 2k skill level. like 9 99s. and 90+ everything else. 0 bans.

I'm new here, I never botted p2p, but I can tell you from my f2p experience that botting is equal to ban. I've tried lots of stuffs, probably all free scripts, lots of scripts I made, etc, everything banned me.

yeah. f2p dont have it too easy. they dont care because they arent making money. you have less risk getting banned in f2p because even if youre a bot, youre still giving them money.

lol, your IP is probably flagged if you get banned so often
