Has anyone been hacked through this bot?

Featured Replies

I've spent around a year off of runescape and tried to come back yesterday to find my p/w incorrect. When recovered my expensive items are missing. I didn't put my RS details anywhere, had NOTHING to do with rs for that whole time. I struggle to see how I got hacked.

Maybe u downloaded a local script which might been infected. U sure that u didnt download any rs related programs or played any rsps? Or registered in rs related forums?

There are tons of possibilites, but that could be specified if you could provide me with details.

I'm not sure if I downloaded a local script, that could be it but I'm not sure. I haven't downloaded anything related to RS, haven't played RSPS in a long time and when I did I had it with no relation to my runescape account. Never been on any forums related to runescape.

Is there anyway to check if I downloaded a local script? And also is there anything I can do to get some compensation? (I know EA gives compensation if someones hacked with sufficient proof or something) would love if I got ANYTHING back xD

Local/downloadable scripts is the section where you could of gotten the infected file, On SDN section all scripts are checked and clean.

I think I might've downloaded a nature rune crafting one now that I think of it, cause no free ones did nats. I know i ALWAYS did SDN or what ever

Nah man it's not the bot. Might be a script as suggested but even that is highly unlikely.

Jagex will not compensate you for items lost, and neither will osbot.

No, its not this bot. Maybe next time don't go to giveaways or download rs gold generator :Dd

Bot and SDN scripts are clean.

local scripts = selfmade scripts of ppl and can come with a little suprise at the end.

it's always so easy to blame the bot..

I'm not blaming the bot... I'm asking if it happens. Only thing outside of runescape that had my password.

"had NOTHING to do with rs for that whole time" Do you even English brah? I stayed away from anything runescape related, had nothing to do with giveaways or generators lol.

Lmfao, people with billions trust this bot

The chances are that it's not the bot, but it could possibly be the script; it has been known that scripters have put keyloggers within scripts. If you got hacked, just perform a full scan with Malwarebytes (this is the only anti-malware I advise) and then see what pops up.

i highly doubt its this bot, but its been pretty controversial. People have blamed this bot for everything, even the death of binladen.
