Did you try Minotaurs (lv27 ones in the large room south-west from chest, I think)? I get up to 40k xp/h there with Ande's fighter

With 1 attack, not sure if it is good and I heard you bank every hour or less.

The attack reduces the range of monsters you can kill quite a bit indeed ... can't see anything else then Monks
