Terrible Scripts

The amount of times people come into the chat, wondering how to get refunds, asking why scripts aren't working, etc is insane. For some scripts they might be easily get a refund because the scripter hasn't even been on in days but a lot of them aren't informed about how to properly do this. Yes, they could search the forum 10 minutes and probably find out or go to the chat box and check what's up. But, that's not at all what happens. They immediately freak out about how they just paid for something that doesn't work and they come to the chat to complain. Of course no one on the chat gives a shit (it get's annoying the amount of times it happens) enough to manually help them 1 by 1.

Now first off, the question I have been asking so much lately is why there are even average scripts premium. Premium scripts should be held for the above average at least but the elite of elite scripts. Scripts that have proper anti-ban, with developers who constantly update, and make contact with their users.

On the top it may seem like OSbot profits off these users no matter what, but that is simply not true. If the first script you buy is broken, and you lose out on say $5 you're going to feel inclined to believe that at least some of the other scripts are broken. When you do this you don't buy other scripts until you're comfortable and for some that might never happen.

I don't know what kind of approach is being taken with the scripts right now but it's not working and something needs changed.

tl/dr remove the shitty premium scripts or everyone goes bye bye with and buy buy elsewhere

Jeff, you raise a good point. If I pay 5$ for a shitty goblin killer script that gets me banned and then breaks because the developer isn't updating it, its going to make me less inclined to spend more money for a script that may actually be good. Having bad scripts in the premium section will only discourage people from spending money on the better premium scripts. Why should I trust @Divinity's AIO Hunter Script (which is very well written and put together) if I pay for a cheaper script that breaks and gets my account banned? As the average leecher, I am not going to come back. Premium scripts should meet a certain threshold for code quality, complexness, and antiban features. The Script Managers should evaluate the scripts that are going to be premium, and veto them if they don't meet the set criteria for a premium script. The criteria should be made public as well, so that everyone knows what it takes to make a premium script.

That is all.

scripts aren't the problem, the client has many issues, random events are terrible, and many other problems that can lead to script issues.

OSBot gains profits through all premium scripts even if the customer doesn't buy another script after the first. If I have misread what you said, my bad.

Sometimes people complain because the client isn't working properly (broken randoms, broken API, etc), which affects the script directly, but isn't the scripts fault. Also, Jagex has been doing a pretty good job banning people, so as soon as some uses any script and gets banned, they are inclined to blame the script and if that is the case, then all scripts are shitty...

Everyone has a different definition of shitty premium scripts.

There are free trials, why doesnt the user try the script out. If it shitty to them,,then well dont buy it. Save you money, and you wont start thinking all prem are shitty.

im pretty sure they already do this. Well i konw for sure they did it in osbot 1. Now for osbot 2 im not 100% sure.

Some scripts are not most of them. There is always issues with the client, if it has to do with random, or client side issue.

He's saying that if u have a bad experience with a sub-par script ur less inclined to branch out and buy more scripts. First time buyers with a bad experience are more likely to jump ship and head over to our competitors and take their money out of osbot. If that makes sense
