I'm not an official scripter or even an SDN scripter, but I must say for me, the API is kind of hard to use. There are not as many methods, and a lot of them that they do have implemented break on occasion.

Things like basic path walking and local walking, which are both essential to any bot client, don't exist or don't work well. The random event handler could also be improved.

It lacks some things, but the new API team is here to fix that.

 

It's not very well documented, but It's not impossible to use either (In most cases)

Not bad, but could be better. Static api would be more clear for new scripters I think.

I think it's setup in a logical and easy to understand way. The quality of some methods could be drastically improved as could the documentation. It isn't too difficult to learn though. :)

There's enough access in the client to make your own API methods anyway.  Most of us have been doing that for a while now.
