Catherby Fisher & Cooker (Coming Soon)

Featured Replies

Preface

I wanted to create a sort of "AIO" for Catherby, not fishing or cooking, but just Catherby.  I'm pretty new to the osbot community at least so I'm not sure what people's perspectives on newcomers are but they can just virus scan my files, test my bots, and then draw their own conclusions.

About Me

I have a decent enough background in programming, especially Java, so I am picking up things quickly. I have also been playing Runescape since the good old RS1 days (completed Dragon Slayer right before RS2 came out, man I was pissed about the reward changes to that quest), and I have been botting/playing on and off ever since across various platforms.

Features

*All Fishing Types Supported (in Catherby)

*Dropping

*Banking

*Cooking after Fishing but before Banking (on the way to the bank)

*Just Cooking (bank -> range -> bank -> range etc.)

*Anti-Ban (of course)

Current Status

-Well, I just started scripting this 2 days ago so it is a bit rough around the edges right now. So far cooking has not been added, but the fisher actually works. I'll give a list of basically what is currently implemented:

-Pathing (From the bank to the Fishing spots, as well as from any of the 4 fishing spots back to the bank)

-Banking (Will deposit all fish when full, but not the tool)

-Keep that Tool! (If there is no fishing tool on hand, it will get one from the bank, no requirements on where it has to be in the bank as it can get it from anyway)

-Clean Paint (what else need I say?)

So yeah, a working skeleton has been produced, and now I just need to flesh it out (I wish it was that simple)

To Do

-Improved Pathing (sometimes it will just get caught for a few seconds along the path, needs investigating)

-Anti-Ban (already I have a million ideas planned for this and I actually plan to make this very realistic and randomized)

-Cooking (all of it, although I do not think this will be very difficult honestly)

-GUI (need this for user input on type of fishing, dropping/banking, cooking options, etc.)

-Dropping (easy to implement)

Future Goals

-Real AIO Fisher (any type / any location)

-AIO Cooker

-Potentially some Fletching Stuff

-Potentially some Combat stuff (as it seems there isn't much good free stuff around)

**Thanks for reading, I hope people are willing to test this for me in a few days. I noticed other posts are always fancy and bolded with colors, but this should do for now, nice and simple; hopefully not too clogged up though.**

Sounds good, haven't seen anything like this before in all of my years of botting ^_^

Looks sweet, look forward to it's release.

Heh, didn't think it was that irregular.  Idk if it was efficient, but back in the day I used to fish in Catherby (right after I got members), and then cook my fish on the way back to the bank. It's just one of those nice combo deals.

As far as the separate cooking/fishing options, maybe unorthodox, but its not AIO so not too complex.
