Lenovo ThinkPad W540

Intel Core i7 4700QM,
15.6" FHD 1920X1080 display,
8 GB DDR3 on 1 DIMM,
nVidia Quadro K1100 2GB RAM Graphics Card,
500 GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive

Thoughts?

EDIT: Oh and the best part: Windows 7 :D

Last time I had a Lenovo it lasted a little less than a year and a half.

I was either going to get a lenovo thinkpad or alienware, I chose alienware because the lights are nicer.

not bad, could do with some minor improvements.

Nice laptop, how much did it cost?

Question: Is it for gaming?

because pls buy desktop too

Otherwise; that laptop is beautiful, for anything and everything.

Its not for gaming. Its for schoolwork and everyday usage :)

Quadro? Do you graphicy/video'y stuff?

Needs an SSD though + I hope it has a IPS display.

What are you looking to use your laptop for? I could recommend a good gaming laptop. This laptop is pretty good all around.

I would definitely recommend getting a SSD. It's safer, more reliable and a good backup.

The you have more than enough in this laptop biggrin.png

If you want to save some cash I can probably recommend a better laptop that still meets you're needs.
