Bolter and Darter

is it possible for you to set this up with barbed bolts?

Unfortunately not. My script is designed to re-select feathers and to use them on unfinished bolts at unprecedented speeds. The reasons are:

  • Barbed bolt tips can only be used on finished bronze bolts. My framework isn't set up to fletch bolts using any other method outside of using one item on another.
  • There's an interface and fletching delay when doing barbed bolts. Again, my framework isn't set up for this.

I won't dismiss the idea entirely. But if I were to create a script that could handle more, I'd probably end up writing an AIO fletching script. :)

1.6m / steel dart exp (7.5) = 213,333. You were fletching 213k darts per hour.

The progress report included in the thread shows an estimate of 253k bolts per hour. This script may increase your productivity by 15%.

What makes this possible is the custom method used in this script; the script forces RuneScape to re-select items without touching the mouse. This means there are no mouse movements between feathers and bolt/dart tip, nor is there the manual clicking of the bolt/dart tip. Though there is a limit to how fast you can fletch; if the delay is just too short (literally single-digit milliseconds), the game cannot properly synchronise the sheer number of interaction requests.
