Earlier I was hunting some tropical birds for about 3 hours on and off.

 

The last batch was about 30 minutes long, until I noticed I was logged out.

 

When I attempted to re-log, I got the message that my password was incorrect.

 

After going through the recovery process and changing my password, I tried to log back on only to see "invalid password" STILL

 

I then changed my password about 3 different times, receiving the "invalid password" message EVERY time I changed my password

 

My username also does not show in the high scores anymore. As of right now, it is impossible to log onto my account even on the runescape website because every time I change my password, the system does not recognize it. No matter what the password is, it is incorrect.

 

Has anyone heard of this issue before?

Happened to me yesterday. I Googled it and came back with the same answer that Jams is giving you.

There has even been rare cases where jagex goes onto the said account and trolls by taking specific items of value.

Create a new account using the same email address and username, and see if that works. I have heard of people gaining their accounts back this way. If u have another account, and also have your deleted account added, it should say something like #j29773ab22.....that way, you know it has been deleted
